Whats a Cyber Awareness Coach?

...and how can this type of coach help me?

I'm glad you asked! If you've taken a look at the most recent Cybersecurity Supply/Demand heat map you may have noticed that there are over 300,000 cybersecurity job openings going unfilled.

There is an extreme shortage of staff in this field. Also on the list of jobs detailed, you will note something called Cybersecurity Consultant. This is a catch-all for all those other cyber related job titles that most often include the role Ive just spent the last 20 years doing: The Cybersecurity Awareness Evangelist.

Admittedly, the "Evangelist" term is my own and you (or your potential employer) may choose to call yourself a consultant, a trainer, a project manager etc. But the bottom line is that you have an opportunity to decide if keeping folks safe in Cyber space is something that could make your heart sing!

So here's the deal, as your cybersecurity awareness coach I have a question for you to consider before you reach out to me:

Whats the conversation we could be having right now that's going to grow you on your career path?

Think about that for a while. In the meantime, while the tea is steeping take a look at a really cool introductory experience that could help you decide if you are ready to unleash that inner superhero! It's called CyberSAFE and in less than 4 hours you can become certified, learn some insider tips to staying safe in cyberspace and you can decide if you are hungry to learn more about keeping yourself and your family CyberSAFE!

Visit the CyberSAFE Page

and let me know what you think!

Loved the Cybersafe Training over the weekend. As an Operational Risk Management Consultant serving companies that manufacture and handle highly hazardous materials, and are part of the nation's critical infrastructure, I have renewed appreciation how protecting access to the server in the administrative areas can prevent disaster in the plants. Not only from the data integrity and business interruption perspective, but also from the Process Safety perspective. This will add another dimension of my business. Thanks so much.
